Children's Holiday Party
Soroptimist International of Garden City hosts a free, annual Children's Holiday Party for all Garden City kids through age 12. Our community members are always very generous, and their contributions let us spread holiday cheer to about 200 Garden City children each year, many of whom live below the poverty level. We provide a carefree, fun and safe afternoon to these kids who may otherwise go entirely without this holiday season. Every child in attendance receives a gift bag. It's a delight and a privilege to host this event year after year. The joy on the faces of these kids says it all.

The 2007 Children's Holiday Party was a big success! Thank you to the Boys and Girls Club for opening their facility to us, and thank you to all of our community members for their great donations. Lots of people pitched in to make this event happen, and it was worth the effort... Many of the kids told us how much they loved their time at the party and their gifts! Check out all the smiles below.
