Children of Peace International

Clubs of the Rocky Mountain Region proudly support Children of Peace, a humanitarian organization which serves the people of Vietnam by developing the capability of the people to help themselves. The children of Vietnam are those most in need of help in a country still recovering from many years of war.

The Rocky Mountain Region Soroptimists have donated to Children of Peace projects, which include:

• Little Rose Project: a rehabilitation shelter that helps girls reclaim their lives after being caught in the web of human trafficking.
• Schools and Orphanages
• Scholarships
• Micro-loan Program
• Hospital Support
• HIV Center
• Community Support for clean water wells and health care
• Medical Missions
• Adoptions
• Reflector vests for 500 women riding bicycles to market in Vietnam
• Funding for 10 market kiosks in Vietnam for women's crafts
